A group of mothers had started their breastfeeding journey with right education. Most breastfeeding problems such as sore nipples, engorgement, not enough milk and others can be avoided or resolved with the right assistance. We wish them a...ll the best !
Elize Wellness conducted 45 minutes of Breast Massage Therapy which covers massage techniques for addressing all the challenges mentioned. Even if you are not nursing, it still promote a good breast health which prevent breast cancer.
Chemicals from skin-care products seep into the bloodstream and, in extreme cases, can cause birth defects and allergies and affect breast milk, report doctors at BabyandPregnancy.co.uk. Mothers are being informed on their existing harmful substances of skin care.

 I feel this is a great session which help new mum to understand the important information especially breast feed from day 1 – day 7. What the pre-work and steps you need to do to help you succeed in breast feeding. People there are friendly, helpful and attend to your questions. You also can find out your skin care product is it harmful to your baby or not and what you eat (supplement) is it good for you and baby.

Probiotic Found in Breast Milk Helps Alleviate Symptoms of Digestive Disorders

June 3, 2010 — Here's another reason to breast feed your baby: Canadian researchers have discovered how a probiotic found in breastmilk reduces or eliminates painful cramping in the gut. In a new research report published online in the FASEB Journal these scientists use mice to show that a specific strain of Lactobacillus reuteri decreases the force of muscle contractions in the gut within minutes of exposure. This bacterium naturally occurs in the gut of many mammals and can be found in human breast milk. This discovery suggests that increasing the intake of this bacterium may help alleviate symptoms of a wide range of gut disorders, such as irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, functional bowel disorders, and constipation.

The Malaysian Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Association (MBfPCA) will be conducting the Peer Counselor training course as requested by MMPS (Mother to mother Peer Support) Penang group. Details are as follows.
