Jennifer Osram PG - Breastfeeding Journey

Jennifer from Osram Penang, dated 18 June 2013

I have a great time with Ameda for the past 10 months. This breastpump is really working well for me, good suction with stimulation mode, and I am able to yield more. As I am a working mum, light weight and can be operated with battery is really a plus point for me as I need to travel sometimes.

When my baby 4 months old, my hubby had bought me a Faber freezer specifically to store breastmilk, as my double door freezer already full. I have donated my milk to other babies and I really felt proud and happy of sharing the best milk with others who need it. I have not taken any breastmilk booster, and my only booster is direct latch my love one and frequent pumping to stimulate.

Many people were asked me when am I planning to stop breastfeed? My ultimate goal was 6months but it has already past, and frankly I have not thought of stopping. I really enjoy my breastfeeding journey.

Advice to new mum who desire to breastfeed their baby: Mummies, you really have make a wise decision to give the best milk to your love one. To succeed in your breastfeeding journey, equipped with more breastfeeding knowledge and information, eat healthily, drink at least 3litre of water a day, direct latch more often, and you also need to invest a good pump which suitable to yourself (well, your hand can be also a good pump), rest more and get helps or support from others if you needed especially during the first month after delivery.

I really glad with Baby Paradise,  Su Li's good service. Thank you again! :)
