Factors contribute to low milk supply

Factors

Stress - Mothers return to works finding milk supply drops. It might be worse for mothers who need to cope with 2 childrens or more. Try to adjust the schedule and ask helps if possible. everything is possible if you put your heart to do it.

Lack of sleep - Try to rest as much as you can. When baby is napping, you follow nap too.

Baby's growth spurt - Often babies will demand more milk and mother can choose to have some milkmaid herbs to increase the production or drink more liquid like juices or water.

Add more calories - A day , nursing mothers will burn about 500 calories. Therefore, choose high calories food to consume.

  1. Hi there - this is Melanie Zoltan, the author of the Suite101 article from which you quoted and linked. I can't find an email address for you, so I'm posting this here. Suite101 has a policy for Fair Use of writers' work that bloggers and website owners can only copy 50 words of the article, and provide a link. You've copied 177 words of the article, which hurts my article's rankings in Google (and hurts your post as well - Google downranks us both for duplicate content).

Please revise this post to quote no more than 50 words of my article and keep the link. I appreciate that you read my work and found it useful.

If you have questions you can reach me via my Suite101 profile, found on the article.

    All the best,

    Melanie
